Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

๐Ÿพ The short version: Pet Genome games do not send us gameplay, analytics, or advertising data. There are no accounts, trackers, analytics, or ads. Progress stays on your device and, when you enable iCloud Drive, in your private Apple Account backup; we cannot access either copy. If you email support, we receive only what you choose to send.

Who we are

Pet Genome is a series of single-player breeding games for iPhone made by Jazmy ("we," "us"). The series currently includes Dog Genome Game and Cat Genome Game. This policy explains what information our games (each, "the app") handle. It applies to every game in the Pet Genome series and to this website (petgenomegame.com).

Information we collect

The games do not automatically send us personal information, gameplay, or usage data, and we do not sell personal information. The games contain no analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs. They require no account and work offline. Optional transmission to your private iCloud backup, Photos, or a destination you choose in Apple's system share sheet is described below. The only personal information we may receive directly is information you deliberately send when you contact support.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress โ€” pets, coins, names you give your animals, and notes you write โ€” is saved locally on your device. If you use iCloud Drive, the app may also mirror a backup into its private container in your Apple Account so you can choose to restore it on a new installation. We have no access to either copy. Deleting a game removes its local data; an iCloud backup may remain in your Apple Account until it is replaced or removed through Apple's storage controls.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases in our games โ€” coin packs, disclosed pet/supporter bundles, and one-time feature tools such as Quick Compete and Genome Loom โ€” are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy. Purchases can be managed and refund requests made through your Apple account.

Saving and sharing pet images

If you tap a save-to-Photos action, the app asks iOS for add-only Photos access and writes the image you selected to your library. The app cannot browse, read, or retrieve your existing photos. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings.

If you choose Share, Apple's system share sheet lets you select an app, person, or other destination. The app supplies the item you selected but does not receive your destination, contacts, or sharing history, and we do not receive or retain the shared item.

Children's privacy

Pet Genome games are suitable for all ages and do not automatically send us personal information or usage data from children or adults. There is no in-app chat, public posting, developer-operated social network, or player directory. A player may deliberately save or share an image as described above. A parent or player may also choose to contact support by email; we handle that message as described below.

Support communications

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as your message, attachments, or device and game details. We use that information only to answer your request, investigate the issue, and maintain records reasonably necessary for security or legal obligations. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them.

We keep support communications only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, then delete them. You may ask us to delete a support message sooner by emailing the address below; we will honor the request unless we must retain specific information for a legal, security, or dispute-resolution reason.

This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run developer-operated analytics or advertising and do not set our own cookies. Cloudflare may process basic technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Pages load the Nunito typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser requests that font, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device details, and the requested resource. Google's handling of that information is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Video previews use a privacy-preserving click-to-load control. The site does not contact YouTube merely because you visit a page. If you choose Play, your browser connects to YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed service; Google and YouTube may then process technical request and playback information under Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If a future update or new game in the series ever changes how data is handled (for example, by adding analytics, accounts, or a developer-operated service), we will update this policy first and note the new effective date above.
